September 20, 2011 Volunteers Needed for Habitat for Humanity Build – October 15th
We need the following from volunteers!
- CONSTRUCTION VOLUNTEERS
- October 15 — framing; heavy construction (sign-up deadline is October 12)
- Maximum 20 PWOW volunteers (whatever the number turns out to be will be fine)
- 7:45 a.m. hard arrival time; all volunteers HAVE TO go through safety training starting at 8 a.m.; no late arrivals allowed on this workday
- other safety information will be distributed to the volunteers the week prior to the workday
- IN KIND DONATIONS
- lunch provided by PWOW for 35 volunteers (15 other volunteers plus the number of PWOW members we have going that day)
- lunch is to be delivered to the address we’ll provide later to those donors
- see attached for the list of supplies we need donated
- donations can be brought to the HFHWC office at 2108 North Austin Avenue or to the PWOW meetings
- CONTRIBUTIONS
- I already received a $50 check made out to HFHWC that we’ll count toward the total contributed by PWOW members
Drop-off contributions to Habitat for Humanity, Williamson County, at 2108 North Austin Avenue in Georgetown; Accord Home Health in Round Rock at 1717 North IH-35, Suite 210; or at the PWOW meeting at Seton Williamson on September 28th at 7:30 AM. This will be the most fun, rewarding project you ever did!!!

Yeshambel and Alemwork are a married couple with one young daughter and are immigrants from Ethiopia. He has college degrees in Mathematics and Computer Science and his wife has a degree in Economics. Their credentials are not recognized in this country so they feel fortunate to have found steady jobs with a medical supply manufacturer.
